Cargolux received the second price for Best Team Award at the 8th edition of the Best of Bencham in Shanghai. The event welcomed a record number of 370 Best of Bencham guests, with in particular HRH Princess Astrid of Belgium, several Ministers and Governors from Belgium and the Netherlands and members of the Benelux business community. Cargolux received the second price thanks to its successful relocation of two captive beluga whales, Little Grey and Little White, to an open-water sanctuary in Iceland which was a remarkable company-wide project. As teams from different backgrounds worked together, each with their own requirements, it was vital for all involved to trust each other’s expertise and keep the end goal in sight. The success of the project was a real incentive for Cargolux to run for the Best Team award and highlight the dedication of its teams worldwide. The distinction from BENCHAM recognizes organizations that have contributed to putting Benelux on the Chinese business map.
