High performance computing is used to solve complex problems and process very large quantities of data in science, engineering, business and industry. As an increasing number of organisations – no longer only research centres, but also private companies – are looking to use these supercomputers, the need for HPC experts with knowledge in this highly specialised field is growing quickly.
In order to meet this expanding need for training highly skilled and talented graduate students, a consortium of European partners led by the University of Luxembourg has been selected by the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking to design and implement the first pan-European pilot HPC Master’s program.
